We are thrilled you will speak at our Wellbeing at Work Australia Summit in November. Our first and most important question is, how are you doing today?

Thank you, I’m excited to get this message and now Just booked my flight and accommodation for Sydney.

As a leader based in the region, what are the main challenges you are facing when it comes to employee wellbeing?

The main challenge is to talk openly to each individual about their personal fitness level and self-care routine.

What strategies have you seen developing over the past 6 months, both internally and externally, that is moving the dial on wellbeing in the workplace?

The strategies I’ve noticed include the need to make a commitment to less screen time and more regular time for self-care and healthy Body Mind and Heart-focused actions.

Why is employee wellbeing so important to you personally?

Wellbeing at work is one of my “non-negotiables” because I believe that you become better as a person in both Body Mind and heart for Home, Work and Community

What are you most looking forward to about the Summit in November?

I look forward to sharing and connecting with like-minded people.

Tell us, what is your vision for the future workplace, in terms of engagement, health and wellbeing?

Continue to train people in Facilitation and leadership as well as educate body workers to help heal for Body Mind and Soul

What areas do you think employers should be focused on over the next 12 months?

Plan and commit to Self-care and well-being daily. Bring in rotations at work for people to take charge of how to prioritize Wellbeing

How has your organisation been leading the way?

Mettes Institute has trained over 5000 Bodyworkers and facilitators of personal development and Bodywork since 1994.

As we are retreat facilitators and leaders, we get an opportunity to get fit in Body Mind, and soul as preparation prior to the Retreat, and daily on retreat we live Healthy . Walking our talk as best as we can.

Mette will be speaking in Sydney at the Wellbeing at Work Summit Australia which takes place both live and in-person in Sydney and Melbourne, and virtually for the wider region. Further details on the Summit can be found here.
